Courier è una serie di conversazioni con critici di arte e cultura visiva organizzata da Reading Room e Francesco Tenaglia.
Il primo appuntamento è con Travis Jeppesen: autore di tre romanzi, due raccolte di poesia, una piece teatrale e una raccolta di critica d'arte. Ha scritto per Artforum, Afterall, Art in America, Texte zur Kunst, Flash Art International, New York Press, Bookforum, The Stranger e Zoo Magazine. Vincitore dell'Arts Writers Grant 2013 di Creative Capital / Warhol Foundation, ha tenuto lezioni di Critical Writing presso il Royal College of Art, dove ha recentemente conseguito un PhD. Ha esposto presso la Wilkinson Gallery (Londra), E X I L E (Berlino) e Rupert (Vilnius) e partecipato alla Whitney Biennial del 2014. Il suo ultimo libro, "See You Again in Pyongyang" (Hachette), tratta dei suoi studi in Nord Corea. "Bad Writing", una nuova raccolta di critica d'arte sarà pubblicata a fine 2018 da Sternberg Press.

The first appointment is with Travis Jeppesen: author of three novels, two volumes of poetry, a stage play, and a collection of art criticism. His critical writings on art, film, and literature have appeared in Artforum, Afterall, Art in America, Texte zur Kunst, Flash Art, New York Press, Bookforum, The Stranger, and Zoo Magazine. He is the recipient of a 2013 Arts Writers Grant from Creative Capital / the Warhol Foundation, and has taught as a visiting lecturer in Critical Writing in Art and Design at the Royal College of Art, where he recently completed his PhD. His calligraphic and text-based art work has been the subject of solo exhibitions at Wilkinson Gallery (London), Exile (Berlin), and Rupert (Vilnius), and was featured in the 2014 Whitney Biennial. Jeppesen’s latest book, "See You Again in Pyongyang", about his time studying in North Korea, was recently published by Hachette. "Bad Writing", a new collection of his art criticism, will be published in late 2018 by Sternberg Press.
